María Manzano emphasizes expressiveness, development of the piano technique precision, style accuracy, aural training and music theoretical knowledge, all adapted to the age and level of each student.

María serves as a piano faculty at the British International School of New York, Third Street Music School Settlement, New York City Piano Academy and runs a private music studio in Manhattan where she offers online and in-person piano lessons.

ABRSM & NYSSMA EXAMS

Exam preparation for The New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) and the annual graded examinations of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). The British ABRSM exam is an internationally recognized achievement system in which students perform for an adjudicator three solo works, scales, and arpeggios, as well as demonstrate proficiency in sight-reading and aural recall. Manzano's students have consistently achieved the highest results on both NYSSMA and ABRSM exams.
